Get in the kitchen and get creative with leftovers
This is one for all the budding chefs out there who want to create their own school lunchbox masterpiece! It’s so much fun to roll up your sleeves and get into the kitchen. Yum!

What to Do

STEP 1:

It is VERY important to get permission before you do anything with this mission!

STEP 2:

When you have permission, have a look around the kitchen (start in the fridge) for leftovers and other nearly wasted food that you could use in your school lunch.

STEP 3:

Plan what you want to cook with food you have found - try and make it healthy as well as yummy.

STEP
4:

Get cooking, little Wasty Chef! Think about tidying up too. 

STEP 5:

Add your food to your lunchbox for school the next day so you can show it off to your friends. Take some pictures and share with us.

STEP 6:

Take a photo and click COMPLETE MISSION to earn your impact points. Remember to post a picture on Facebook and Instagram - use the hashtag #MakeWastyTasty

How This Helps

Using up food that isn’t being eaten, or leftovers that might be thrown away is a great way to save money and the planet at the same time. It also helps you learn about ingredients and cooking - great big-person skills!
